An electrical engineer from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar S. Inderjit Singh joined his father late. S. Amar Singh at his shop Amar Electric Company in Bhagirath Palace, Delhi but he had big dreams and in 1976 founded Hardeep Electrical Industries along with his brother Late S. Rajinder Singh to manufacture wires & cables and other electrical goods under the brand "Shalimar" with a clear idea in his mind to provide quality products at competitive prices. He also coined the Tagline Safety through Quality and Safe Bhi Reliable Bhi.

Hardeep Singh

Managing Director

Mr. Hardeep Singh joined his father's company at a very early age when he started managing the affairs of the factory after the sudden death of Late S.Rajender Singh. He learned the ropes of the business from his father and through first-hand experience in the factory while continuing his education. In 2006 he in consultation with his farther made the company private limited and got the same registered under MSME to be able to expand the company's manufacturing and distribution networks. He heads the manufacturing and marketing departments.

Mrs. Jasmeena Sodhi

Director

Mrs. Jasmeena Sodhi joined the family business as a director in the year 2006. She has done her education from Delhi University and has a diploma in interior design. She always envisioned herself as an entrepreneur who wanted to open her own interior studio. In the year 2006, she joined hands with her husband Mr. Hardeep Singh to expand the family business and to make "Shalimar" a household name in the field of electrical wires & cables. She is actively involved in the day-to-day affairs of the company and heads the finance department.
